Roosters, Roses and Raspberries Apron - May

$15.00

There's something satisfying about gathering the first egg of the morning.

Some aprons seem to belong exactly where they are. Roosters, Roses & Raspberries was inspired by early mornings when the dew is still on the grass, the coop is waking up, and a wicker basket slowly fills with warm eggs gathered one by one. The cheerful rooster print, blooming garden roses, and rich raspberry red bodice capture the simple pleasures of country life—whether you keep chickens yourself or simply dream of a quieter pace.

Designed in the Kitchen Mechanic Mercantile workshop, this crossbody apron is made to be as comfortable as it is beautiful. The shoulder straps stay comfortably in place, the generous front pocket keeps necessities close at hand, and the wraparound design makes it easy to wear from morning chores through an afternoon spent baking, gardening, or welcoming friends into the kitchen.

Life has a way of reminding us that happiness is often tucked into ordinary moments. Fresh eggs gathered at sunrise. Bread rising on the counter. A favorite recipe passed from one generation to the next. Roosters, Roses & Raspberries celebrates those little moments that quietly become the memories we treasure most.

Thank you for stopping by the Mercantile. I hope this apron finds a happy home and becomes part of your own family traditions for years to come.

From the Mercantile

Kissy always says there's no better way to begin the day than by checking the chicken house before breakfast. She says hens appreciated a friendly greeting almost as much as they appreciate fresh feed. And even though sometimes there is a bounty, and some days not enough eggs to make a cake, Kissy says it all evens out. "The eggs will be there when they're ready."  Folks in Bitter Root repeat that bit of wisdom whenever life seems to be moving a little too fast.
